A 4WD tag-along guided tour through the ancient red volcanic landscapes of the Gawler Ranges. See lava columns, granites, the salt expanses of Lake Gairdner, the wreckage of an ancient continental collision, the birthplace of Australia's steel industry, South Australia's oldest known rocks, the world's oldest Jade and Eyre Peninsula's "Wave Rock". And we visit the Lake Acraman Impact Crater, one of the largest exposed craters on Earth.
At night, weather permitting, we explore some of the darkest starriest skies on Earth with our powerful portable telescopes.
