Wirrina Coastline Walk
A 3 hour guided walk featuring a historic cave, a prehistoric beach, an upside-down cliff, over 1700 million years of geology, the Tjilbruke story and a spectacular western Fleurieu coastline at low tide.
What to bring: sturdy enclosed shoes, camera, water, sunscreen hat & sunglasses, and clothing appropriate for weather forecast.
Moderate agility is required for this tour. Due to the rough natural terrain surfaces we walk over, this tour is unsuitable for prams, wheelchairs, or anyone with mobility or balance problems. Young children (and their specimen collections) may need to be carried by their parents. You must have sturdy enclosed footwear to do this walk because some of it requires walking across rough rocks, boulders and loose pebbles. NO thongs, sandals, crocs, flats, moccasins, high heels or bare feet allowed on tour.
This daytime tour is run on demand, subject to our availability -- and favourable low tide & weather conditions. Contact us to arrange your walk.
We can also do a shorter version of this tour for school groups.
